With the summer holiday well under way we expect to see a few holidaymakers visit the Nursery especially if this poor run of weather continues.
In bloom on the nursery now are hydrangeas ranging in colour from white, pink through to red and the very sought after blue.
General tidying of the growing area is in full swing with the weeds growing at an alarming rate. Trying to eradicate the weeds before they seed is the important thing and as the old saying goes "one year’s seed is seven years weed".
On the growing front the summer pruning of the 2 litre camellias has just finished and we have also took out the tips of our 9cm liners hoping to make better well branched plants in time.
