Conservatory plants are by definition reasonably tender but they will happily tolerate a frost free environment and only require additional heat in genuinely cold spells. Obviously conservatories come in many different shapes and there may not always be room for a great many conservatory plants.

Our list of special conservatory plants therefore covers both those which are freestanding shrubs as well as those which are best trained up on a climbing frame.
