This year celebrates our 25th anniversary and we hope that those of you who have received our printed Mail Order Catalogue are both pleased and impressed with the completely new format and design. More pictures, more information about our plants and more help in selecting new plants for you to try in your own garden.

Our catalogue is longer than anything produced in previous years, nevertheless printing space is still limited. We have included here on the website new articles on how to plant and care for your plants, also step by step picture guides on how to propagate some of the plants we specialise in most - that's not to say that we want you to do them all yourselves and stop ordering from us! You will also find no less than six ways to help identify the plant you may need for a particular location.

When we talk to customers on the telephone and when you complete our surveys and questionnaires the common theme is a request for more advice and more information. We are working on this, with over 4500 plants, 300 + new ones this year alone, it's no small task. We will be adding details about hardiness, pot size, overall size, planting position throughout the year.

At Burncoose we are committed to providing you with that advice, so please do not hold back in emailing or telephoning us with your own specific queries. You will find our email address and telephone number on the bottom of every page. We have a page where you can read a bit about the backgrounds of our helpful and knowledgable staff who will be taking your calls for advice and help. We believe our staff's committment to ensuring that you have the best plants for your garden is what sets Burncoose’s service apart from our competitors.

We do not operate 24 hours a day but we will try very hard to answer your queries 7 days a week in office hours.

We are delighted to announce that our new plants this year range across the spectrum of ornamental trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. Wonderful new plants from Chile, new magnolia varieties from the top breeders right around the world and many scarce and extremely rare novelties which only Burncoose could be relied on to supply.

Remember that if you are a professional gardener, landscaper or trade business (Historical Garden for instance) you can just send us an email list of the plants you require and where you want them delivered and we will quote back to you with our best trade prices.

Please carry on helping us to buck the credit crunch and recession just as you did so generously last year where our mail order business grew by almost 20%. Plants to clear the doom and gloom?!
