Evergreen - narrowly oval, dark-green leaves to 10cm (4in) long.
Medium Shrub - Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height - vigorous shrub with arching branches. Tubular flowers, to 2cm (¾in) long, are produced in dense terminal, clusters 8-12cm(3-5in) across, sometimes followed by purple-red berries.

Hardiness Rating

Frost hardy - Plant can withstand temperatures down to -5°C (23°F)
Will grow outside in milder locations - This could include plants which would survive happily in a greenhouse or conservatory if not in a mild location. If you have a sheltered spot in your garden then it may do well here. - loam-based potting, full light, shade from hot sun for greenhouse.
