This variety has medicinal properties and pure white flowers. Upright habit

Burncoose Catalogue Code

Deciduous - oval, glossy, dark-green leaves 4-9cm (1½-3½in) long.
Medium Shrub - Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height - vigorous, wide-spreading shrub with tangled, spiny branches. One of the earliest to flower, in February if grown against a sheltered wall. Produces clusters of 2-4 flowers 4.5cm (1¾in) across followed by apple-like aromatic fruit to 6cm (2½in) long.
