Burncoose Catalogue Code

Evergreen - narrow, oval, boldly-veined, glossy leaves to 10cm (4in), red-tinted when young, then rich-green.
Tree - erect to spreading habit. Flowers are small, bowl-shaped and borne in clusters 5-7cm (2-3in) across followed by black berries.

Hardiness Rating

Frost tender - This plant may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41 °F).
Will grow outside in milder locations - This could include plants which would survive happily in a greenhouse or conservatory if not in a mild location. If you have a sheltered spot in your garden then it may do well here.
