Deciduous - smooth-margined leaves to 8cm (3in) long.

Medium Shrub - Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height - shrubby habit. produces flower heads to 1cm (½in) across surrounded by 4 tapered bracts to 5cm (2in) long, white on opening, turning pink. Fruit is strawberry-like.
