Rare spreading shrub growing up to 2.5 metres high & forming thickets from suckering; good autumn colour

Deciduous - 5- to 7-palmate, mid-green leaves divided into ovate leaflets, 23cm (9in) or more, long, bronze when young.
Tall Shrub - suckering shrub. Produces spidery flowers with protruding stamens in conical panicles to 30cm (12in) tall followed by smooth-skinned fruit.
