Dwarf Shrub - Typically only grows to a maximum of one or two feet in height but there will be some exceptions.
Evergreen - bushy, softly hairy perennial. Reddish-green stems. Spoon-shaped, matt, dark-green leaves 2.5-8cm (1-3in) long, red beneath, becoming darker in winter.
Herbaceous - produces flowers in terminal cymes 20cm (8in) tall.
