Evergreen - to semi evergreen. Broadly oval to rounded 3- to 5-lobed, mid-green leaves 10-20cm (4-8in) long.

Semi-evergreen - Keeps some of its foliage all year, and will drop some leaves as well.

Tall Shrub - erect to spreading small tree or shrub. Produces pendent, bell-shaped flowers 6-8cm (2½-3in) long.

Hardiness Rating

Half hardy - Plant can withstand temperatures down to 0°C (32°F)

Will grow outside in milder locations - This could include plants which would survive happily in a greenhouse or conservatory if not in a mild location. If you have a sheltered spot in your garden then it may do well here. - shelter from cold, drying winds.
