Evergreen - ovate to oblong, spoon-shaped leaves to 15cm (6in) long.
Ground Cover - These plants are typically low growing and spread quickly to inhibit weed growth on areas of bare soil - creeping rhizomatous perennial. Flowers, in spike-like whorls to 20cm (8in) long.
