Burncoose Catalogue Code

Deciduous - oval, pointed, dark-green leaves to 10cm (4in) long, turning yellow in autumn.
Tree - rounded tree becoming less thorny with age. Produces small, yellow-green flowers, the females in short racemes, the males in dense, spherical clusters. Dioecious. Male and female plants required for fruit.

Hardiness Rating

Fully hardy - Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F) - young shoots liable to frost damage.
