Deciduous - oblong to elliptic leaves 10-18cm (4-7in) long by 4-7cm (1½-2½in) wide.
Tall Shrub - flowers to 5cm (2in) long and open to 10cm (4in) wide. Fruit is cylindrical to 12.5cm (5in) long and ripens to bright red.

Hardiness Rating

Fully hardy to Frost tender - Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F) but plants could be possibly damaged below 5°C (41°F)
