Good to know - good wildlife plant. Insects (pollination). Birds. Ornamental Malus (crabapples) can act as pollinators if in flower at the same time.

Medicinal Properties - claimed to be many and varied, from improving endurance in athletes to prevention of prostate problems.

Pests & Diseases - conscientious management required for lasting results. Aphids, weevils, sawfly, codling moth, winter moth, mildew, canker, scab, bitter pit, brown rot.

Please note that orders will normally be despatched within 5 - 10 working days from receipt except in the busy Spring season when it may take up to 15 working days from receipt until despatch.
Orders can also be collected in person from our Nurseries, or some of our shows - just tell us during the checkout process.
