  • Pests & Diseases - red spider mites under glass.
  • Place of Origin - Australia (New South Wales).
  • Half hardy - unheated greenhouse / mild winter - Hardy in coastal and relatively mild parts of the UK except in severe winters and a risk from sudden (early) frosts. May be hardy elsewhere with wall shelter or good micro-climate. Likely to be damaged or killed in cold winters. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -5°C (23°F)
  • Height - in metres - 5-8m (15-25ft)
  • Spread - in metres - 3-6m (10-20ft)
  • Evergreen - fern-like 2-pinnate leaves to 5cm (2in) long, composed of 16-40 tiny, linear leaflets.
  • Tall Shrub - small tree or large shrub with spreading, dense branches. Produces spherical, bright yellow flower heads 5mm (¼in) across in dense axillary racemes 7-10cm (3-4in) long.
  • Full Sun - sheltered site.
