Conifer - male flowers are produced in yellow, catkin-like cones, females in green cone-like structuires. Oblong, bright-red fruit 6mm (¼in) long are produced in autumn on female plants.
Dwarf Shrub - Typically only grows to a maximum of one or two feet in height but there will be some exceptions. - responds well to pruning
Evergreen - rigid, linear, green-bronze leaves 1-2cm (½-¾in) long, set radially around the slender, mid-green shoots.
