Frost tender - This plant may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41 °F).

Preferred Location

Greenhouse or Conservatory - Not the sort of plants to be grown outside where there are likely to be frosts. These plants need to be grown in a conservatory or cool greenhouse or at least brought inside for the winter

RHODOCHITON atrosanguineum
Dark green foliage, purple-red pendent flowers with black centres. An excellent climber for the conservatory where it will grow 8-10ft in a single season and flower throughout the summer. Suitable for the greenhouse or outdoors in sheltered areas.
