Deciduous - leaves are oblong-lance-shaped to elliptic, to 20cm (8in) long with up to 12 oblong-lance-shaped, sharply-toothed leaflets. Leaves turn red or yellow in autumn
Tree - broadly conical to rounded tree. Produces flowers in flat-topped clusters to 12cm (5in) across followed by bunches of orange-red berries.
