Creeping mountain ash, Pygmy rowan

Dwarf suckering shrub forming small thickets. Fruits white flushed rose. Grows well with heathers or dwarf conifers

Burncoose Catalogue Code

Deciduous - pinnate leaves to 10cm (4in) long with up to 15 oval, glossy dark green leaflets which turn turn red and purple in autumn.
Dwarf Shrub - Typically only grows to a maximum of one or two feet in height but there will be some exceptions. - thicket-forming shrub with upright shoots. Produces flowers in open clusters to 8cm (3in) across.
