Evergreen - in mild areas. Semi-erect, arrow-shaped, glossy, bright green leaves to 45cm (18in) long.
Herbaceous - clump forming rhizomatous perennial. Produces a succession of large spathes to 25cm (10in) long with creamy yellow spadices.
