Herbaceous - erect, clump-forming, rhizomatous perennial. 2- or 3-pinnate, hairless leaves to 30cm (12in) long composed of wavy-margined leaflets. Produces cluster of fluffy flowers to 10mm (½in) long in spreading, flat-topped, terminal panicles.
