Half-hardy climber with fragrant, white or pale pink bells which temporarily trap moths
Good to know - sticky pollen masses trap visiting moths.

Place of Origin - South America
Height - 7-10m (22-30ft)
Climber - Some of these climbing plants will need trellis or wire supports if grown on walls or fences. Other grow aerial roots and are self-clinging - twining-stemmed climber. Produces racemes 5-10cm (2-4in) long of oblong-bell-shaped flowers 2.5cm (1in) across and swollen at the bases. Stem contains a white latex.
Greenhouse or Conservatory - Not the sort of plants to be grown outside where there are likely to be frosts. These plants need to be grown in a conservatory or cool greenhouse or at least brought inside for the winter - may survive short spells to 0°C (32°F). Use coarse, loam-based compost (JI No. 2) in full light
