Genus of about 400 species of spreading to erect or scandent shrubs, some epiphytic in the wild. They are found in scrub and forest in warm-temperate regions of eastern Asia to the western Pacific including Australia.
Place of Origin - eastern Asia to the western Pacific, including Australia
Will grow outside in milder locations - This could include plants which would survive happily in a greenhouse or conservatory if not in a mild location. If you have a sheltered spot in your garden then it may do well here.
