Evergreen - elliptic, finely-toothed, dark-green leaves to 5cm (2in) long.
Tall Shrub - dense shrub with arching branches. Flowers in numerous, rounded lateral and terminal cymes to 3cm (1¼in) across emerge from reddish-purple buds.
