Alpine or Rock Plant - These plants prefer well drained soil and are generally dwarf in habit.
Deciduous - oval, bright-green leaves to 9cm (3in) long with bristly margins. Red tints in autumn.
Ground Cover - These plants are typically low growing and spread quickly to inhibit weed growth on areas of bare soil - rhizomatous, spreading perennial. with erect, tred stems. Flowers to 2cm (¾in) acrossin terminal spikes.
