Black jetbead, White Jew's mallow

Somewhat similar to a rubus in its leaf form this branching shrub has white 'dog rose' like flowers and shining black fruits

Burncoose Catalogue Code

Deciduous - oval, tapered, sharply-toothed, deeply-veined, mid-green leaves to 6cm (2½in) long.
Medium Shrub - Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height - arching shoots. Produces 4-petalled flowers 4cm (1½in) across singly from the shoot tips, followed by spherical black berries.

Fully hardy - Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
