Historic House Collection Award - Caerhays Minerals

Hosted by the Curator of the Collection, Courtenay Smale.
Join us for a celebration of the Caerhays Mineral Collection winning the Historic Houses inaugural Collections Award in association with Dreweatts in 2022.
The visit will include a presentation of the award-winning minerals including the Gold Nuggets from Carnon Valley which led to confirmation that the gold in the Sky Disc of Nebra, came from Carnon Valley.
The event will also include a guided tour of Caerhays Castle.
09:30 - Arrive at Caerhays Castle - coffee/tea.
10:00 - 11:00 - talk from Courtenay Smale followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
11:15 - 12:00 Guided tour of Caerhays Castle.
