Rhodanthemum - Growing Guide

Growing Rhodanthemum 'Pretty in Pink'

Moroccan daisy

These plants are very similar in appearance to half hardy Argyranthemums, both in terms of their foliage and daisy flowers, although they are, perhaps, a little hardier. Nevertheless they are really perennial plants to be used as summer bedding in borders or in patio planters or window boxes. They relish hot, dry, sunny situations where, if regularly deadheaded, they will flower away for months in the summer.

R. ‘Pretty in Pink’ has finely cut silver foliage and masses of pink daisy flowers. These plants grow to 10-15in and are also perfectly happy as greenhouse plants in pots where it will be easier to overwinter them in colder areas of the country and take softwood cuttings in early summer to ensure there are no disasters with outdoor grown plants.
