January Monthly Inspiration
Gardening Tips & Offers
By now we hope many of you will have received a 2020 catalogue and will be planning your plant purchases for the year ahead.
It is easy to get carried away with choosing flowers for the spring and summer (so much to choose from!) but rather more difficult to put together a planting list for all four seasons of the year.
The garden can look a little stark in the winter months but interest and structure can be added by including trees and shrubs noted for colourful stems and textured bark. Indeed many look at their best when the leaves have fallen and the quality of winter sunshine does something special, casting a warm glow even on the coldest of days.
There has been a seemingly never ending list of new hellebore cultivars in recent years and though not all will stand the test of time we couldn’t resist adding a few more to our range. With large flowers, marbled leaves and a long flowering period they will certainly earn their keep.
