January Inspiration

2025 Catalogue CoverOur 2025 Mail Order catalogue went online on 1st January and a printed version was sent to many of our customers then. If you would like to download a PDF of the whole catalogue please click here.

If you would like us to send you a FREE 2025 printed catalogue please click here. There are well over 200 new plants in the catalogue and even more now on the website.

We are offering more varieties of camellias, magnolias and rhododendrons than ever before and our prices have not increased in line with recent inflation. Remember our 2 year camellias are on offer until mid-january.

After the named storms in December it would be good to have a settled period of weather in January to enjoy the first harbingers of spring.

The scents in the nursery from several varieties of Hamamelis mollis are already delightful and our Plant of the Month, Daphne x transatlantica ‘Pink Fragrance’ has a knock out scent at the nursery entrance.

In the Burncoose Garden Camellia ‘Cornish Snow’ and Camellia ‘Winton’ are producing a champion show especially on drab and depressing overcast days. On the walls of our walled garden Clematis armandii is already out in flower regardless of the gales and storms.
