  • Evergreen - leathery, deep green leaves to 6cm (2½in) long on purple stems.
  • White
  • Height - 20cm (8in)
  • Spread - to 50cm (20in)
  • Dwarf shrub - Typically only grows to a maximum of one or two feet in height but there will be some exceptions. - a bushy, trailing shrub. Produces flowers with 5 to 8 sepals on previous year's shoots.
  • Hardy - average winter - Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)
  • Full sun - provide shade for roots and base of plant.

  • Additional Features - Good to know - - can be trained as short climber to 1.5m (5ft) by tying-in
  • Pests & Diseases - cutworms, aphids on young plants, whiteflies under glass. Clematis wilt.
