  • Pests & Diseases - scale insects in greenhouse.
  • Place of Origin - Australia (Victoria, Tasmania).
  • Tender - cool or frost free greenhouse - Tolerant of low temperatures, but not surviving being frozen. Except in frost-free inner-city areas or coastal extremities requires glasshouse conditions. Plant can withstand temperatures down to 1°C (34°F)
  • Height - 1-2.5m (3-8ft)
  • Spread - 2-3m (6-10ft)
  • Evergreen - broadly oval leaves 2-3cm (1in) long, heart-shaped at the base.
  • Medium shrub - Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height - spreading shrub. Flowers to 2.5cm (1in) long with reflexed petal tips.
  • Fertile moist well-drained soil
  • Neutral to acid soil
  • Full sun
