CYDONIA
Commonly known as Common quince
Genus of one species of deciduous tree or shrub occuring at woodland margins and on rocky slopes in southwestern Asia.
The aromatic, edible fruit used for preserves and flavouring.
Not to be confused with the flowering quince, Chaenomeles
