  • Evergreen - juvenile leaves are oval to rounded, mid-green and often glaucous (bluish-green or white bloom). Adult leaves are elliptic to lance-shaped, grey-green, 5-8cm (2-3in) long.

  • Tree - dense, erect then spreading tree with smooth, whiteish green bark. Flowers freely in clusters of 3.
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
