    Adult leaves are pendent, lance-shaped to 12cm (5in) long.

  • Tree
    Open to moderately dense shrub or small tree branching from the base. Smooth, flaking, off-white, grey or green bark. Umbels of 3 flowers.
  • Hardy - average winter Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)

    Shelter from cold drying winds.
  • Additional Features
    Good to know - the juvenile leaves are joined at the base around the stem. When they die they remain on the tree and spin in the wind.
