  • Evergreen - small, dark-green, spiny leaves to 2cm (¾in) across.
  • White
  • Height - 1.2m (4ft)
  • Spread - 1.2m (4ft)
  • Medium shrub - Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height - compact, bushy, suckering shrub. Clusters of small, nodding, urn-shaped flowers followed by fruit to 1.5cm (½in) across
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
  • Partial shade
  • Harmful if eaten - These will give you an upset tummy, so please don't eat any of these. - berries, however, are edible but insipid.
