Long-lasting displays from flowers that open in succession.

Protea family so intolerant of phosphates. No requirement for supplemental feeding.

Genus of at least 250 species of evergreen trees and shrubs, most native to Australia, a few native to Indonesia, New Guinea and New Caledonia, found in woodland, rainforest and more open habitats.
