  • Deciduous - large, velvety-looking, rough-textured, broadly oval dark-green leaves to 25cm (10in) long.
  • Blue - blue to purple fertile flowers
  • White - sterile flowers
  • Height - 3m (10ft)
  • Spread - 2.2-2.5m (7-8ft)
  • Tall Shrub - upright shrub with stout, bristly shoots. Flattened flowerheads to 23cm (9in) across.
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
  • Full sun - requires a sheltered site
  • Partial shade
  • Harmful if eaten - These will give you an upset tummy, so please don't eat any of these.
