  • Deciduous - opposite, mid-green leaves composed of 5-9 elliptic leaflets to 6cm (2½in) long with sharp, long points.
  • White - pink tinged.
  • Height - 12m (39ft)
  • Climber - Some of these climbing plants will need trellis or wire supports if grown on walls or fences. Other grow aerial roots and are self-clinging - vigorous, twining climber. Clusters of up to 5 flowers to 4cm (1½in) across. Black berries.
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
