  • Deciduous - oval-lance-shaped to elliptic, stalked, basal leaves 4-20cm (1½-8in) long
  • White
  • Height - 23cm (9in)
  • Spread - 30cm (12in)
  • Bulb/Corm or rhizomatous perennial - rhizomatous perennial with tough, slender, creeping rhizomes. Produces pendent, waxy, bell-shaped flowers 0.5-1cm (¼-½in) across in arching racemes on leafless stems
  • Ground cover - These plants are typically low growing and spread quickly to inhibit weed growth on areas of bare soil
  • Herbaceous - Early in the year, typically January till end of March, herbaceous plants might be supplied in 9cm pots to ensure timely despatch.
  • Very hardy - Hardy in the severest continental climates including exposed upland locations in the UK. Plant can withstand temperatures < -20 (-4°F)
