Commonly known as Honeysuckle
EvergreenPaired, glossy, dark-green leaves to 3cm (1¼in) long.
Dwarf shrubTypically only grows to a maximum of one or two feet in height but there will be some exceptions.Dense, spreading shrub. Produces funnel-shaped, 5-lobed flowers to 8mm (less than ½in) long from the leaf axils.
Ground coverThese plants are typically low growing and spread quickly to inhibit weed growth on areas of bare soil
Hardy - cold winterHardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
