Pinnate to 3-pinnate leaves to 90cm (36in) long with lance-shaped leaflets, red to reddish purple when young and in winter.
Medium shrub Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height
Flowers have large, yellow anthers followed by long-lasting, spherical, bright red fruit.
Hardy - cold winter Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
