  • Evergreen - 5- or 7-palmate leaves composed of long-stalked, leathery, dark-green leaflets to 30cm (12in) long.

  • Tall Shrub - rounded shrub with stout shoots. Produces greenish-purple flowers in compound umbels to 20cm (8in) in winter which develop into large clusters of purple-black fruit
