  • Evergreen - leaves 5-15cm (2-6in) long.
  • Shades of pink - All shades of pink through to Carmine (red) - solid pink in bud fading to white
  • Height - 2m (6½ft)
  • Spread - 2m (6½ft)
  • Medium shrub - Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height - dense, compact shrub. Produces numerous trusses of funnel-shaped flowers 4.5cm (1¾in) long.
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
  • Full sun - shelter from strong winds
  • Partial shade

  • Good to know - shallow planting is essential. An old hybrid which used to be forced for Christmas flowering. Usually flowers March, sometimes February, but can flower by Christmas in mild weather
