Narrower silver-green leaves than A. chathamica. Dense clump-forming plant which is frost hardy and grows to 3 feet
Evergreen - clump forming perennial. Tussocks of arching leaves of an eye-catching silver-green. Panicles of white flowers in spring.
Height - to 90cm (3ft)
Spread - 50cm (20in)
Hardy - average winter - Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)
