  • Evergreen - large leaves 15-45cm (6-18in) long.
  • White - with light-brown-flecked, pale green throats.
  • Height - 5m (16ft)
  • Spread - 4m (13ft)
  • Tall Shrub - vigorous, multi-stemmed shrub or small tree. Produces large trusses of lily-like, tubular-funnel-shaped flowers 4.5-10cm (1¾-4in) long.
  • Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
  • Full sun - shelter from strong winds
  • Partial shade
  • Additional Features - Good to know - - shallow planting is essential. Flowering can take up to 10 years. Suitable for a woodland setting
  • Pests & Diseases - vine weevils, whiteflies, scale insects, caterpillars, aphids, honey fungus, powdery mildew, bud blast.
