6th January 2021. In line with the current government lockdown rules, Burncoose Nurseries is closed to visitors. However at present we are able to offer click and collect to local customers. This will be weekdays only, not weekends.
Mail order is continuing as normal. However please allow extra time for the couriers to deliver, once despatched from us. Sorry to say that some depots are experiencing high volumes of traffic, also staff shortages.

Semi-evergreen - Keeps some of its foliage all year, and will drop some leaves as well. - pinnate leaves to 15cm (6in) with up to 40 pairs of oval or elliptic dark-green leaflets.

Tall Shrub - bushy shrub. Produces flowers in racemes to 5cm (2in) long. Petals of the 5cm (2in) long flowers all point forwards.

Hardy - average winter - Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)
