  • Deciduous - needle- or scale-like leaves to 5mm (¼in) long.
  • Shades of pink - All shades of pink through to Carmine (red) - pale pink

  • Tall Shrub - or small tree with arching, purple-brown shoots. Produces 4-petalled flowers in lateral racemes to 5cm (2in) long on the old shoots
