  • Evergreen - ovate to lance-shaped, grey-green leaves to 2cm (¾in) long, white-woolly beneath
  • Blue - pale blue
  • Height - 60-100cm (24-39in)
  • Spread - 4m (13ft)
  • Medium shrub - Typically grow to around 4-6 feet in height - bushy shrub with arching, white-woolly shoots. Produces whorls of flowers 2.5cm (1in) long with prominent stamens in terminal racemes to 10cm (4in) long.
  • Hardy - average winter - Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)
