    Medicinal properties
    Its flowers are sold in health shops. Lime flower tea, drunk after dinner, aids digestion. Its soothing properties alleviate hysteria, nervous vomiting or palpitation.

    Gall mites on leaves, scale insects on bark, aphids (producing sticky honeydew), honey fungus, Phytophthora root rot.
